BAMSI Announces the Appointment of Two New Board Members
BROCKTON, MA (October 10, 2024) – BAMSI is proud to announce the appointment of Sejal Shah and Winique Green to its Board of Directors.
With extensive experience in program and project management, Ms. Shah is a Senior Advisor at the U.S. Joint Office of Energy and Transportation. In her role as a Senior Advisor, Ms. Shah draws on her policy development and program evaluation experience to create efficiencies that improve the end result of each project’s development.
Ms. Green brings over 20 years of experience in program coordination, quality and compliance, and grant development to BAMSI’s Board. As the Grantee Specialist for UMASS Amherst Donahue Institute, Ms. Green provides grantees with training and technical assistance that is designed to help them strengthen their grant coordination.
As members of BAMSI’s Board of Directors, Ms. Shah and Ms. Green bring extensive knowledge, expertise, and unique life experiences that will help shape the organization’s strategic direction and mission to provide high-quality services to the Greater Brockton community and beyond.
“The mission and impact of BAMSI is unmatched and I longed for deeper community involvement as a longtime Brockton resident. I attended middle school, high school, and came back after college. I am raising my children in this city and also pastoring CityLight Church’s with my husband. It’s simply my time to give back!” said Ms. Green.
“I am thrilled to be a member of the Board of Directors for BAMSI. I have been involved with BAMSI directly for the past five years and understand the significance of the role BAMSI plays for the communities and individuals we serve. I am excited to work and guide the organization in serving more effectively and efficiently,” said Ms. Shah.
“I am absolutely delighted that Sejal and Winique are joining the BAMSI Board. They bring both local knowledge and family lived experience to our wonderful group and I very much look forward to working with them on the important issues that lie ahead of us in the coming years. Welcome to you both!” said BAMSI CEO, Peter Evers.
